Rio Gymnastics Center offers a place for people to learn gymnastics, meet new friends, have fun and is dedicated to improving the quality of life while helping participants realize their fullest potential through development of the mind and body. We offer a varied gymnastics program for all levels of interest. Our instructors have access to continual training which provides our students with up-to-date techniques. Rio Gymnastics Center LLC welcomes a diversity of people and maintains a non-smoking and alcohol/drug free environment.

At Rio Gymnastics Center LLC we are proud to back up our programs with a 100% money back guarantee. If within the first two weeks of any term you are unhappy about any class we will withdraw your child from the class and cheerfully refund 100% of the tuition and registration fee if you are new to our program. If your family is not new to our program, we will extend a credit for 100% of the unused portion of your tuition towards another class or to a future class. You must notify us in writing with in the first two weeks of the term.

We are more than just gymnastics, we are about teaching life habits. Our classes are taught by trained instructors who want your child to succeed. Our pre-school program is based on child development and includes activities to help your child grow both physically, emotionally, and mentally.Our recreation program begins with the basics and as your child progresses through our classes, they will learn valuable life tools such as team work, goal setting, organizational behavior and problem solving skills, and increased self-confidence. We can't wait to introduce you and your child to our program and start them in the wonderful world of gymnastics.

Our Coaches

Coach Michelle - Owner/Operator
Rio Gymnastics LLC is owned and operated by Michelle and Ron Gaudette. Michelle has over 15 years experience working with children of all ages and over 10 years of management and business experience. She began her professional career at the age of 15 choreographing show choirs, musicals, and dances. She taught for seven years in the public high school system where her work was showcased in many venues both locally and nationally.

After her son was born she was introduced into the world of gymnastics to help his gross motor skill development. One class later, she was hooked! She began to train as a preschool gymnastics coach and after a move to San Diego, CA, became the Program Director for the Cameron Family YMCA in Santee. Upon returning to New Mexico after 2 years, she worked for a local gym as a Level 5 coach and also as program director for the gym's satellite location.

In August 2007 the dream of opening a facility came true and Rio Gymnastics Center LLC was opened. Michelle is certified by USAG in Safety, First Aid, Kat, Melp, and HOT. Ron has over 11 years of management and business experience. He oversees the operations of RGC LLC. Both Ron and Michelle have Bachelor's degrees in Business from NMSU.

Coach Becca
RGC's Assistant program director and girls team assistant director. She has over 10 years of coaching experience in pre-school up to Level 6. She is USAG certified in Safety and First Aid. She has a degree in Business from UNM.

Coach Gabe
RGC’s boys’ team director and lead tumbling coach for our Xtreme All Star Cheer Team. Gabe is a nationally ranked male gymnast who has blessed us with his talent for teaching all ages and all levels. He is a Senior at UNM with his sights set on Medical school. He is USAG certified in Safety and First aid.

Coach Sonya
RGS’c Cheer program director and assistant boys team coach. Sonya attends UNM s her sights set on physical therapy school. Sonya competed in gymnastics and on dance teams. She enjoys coaching all levels and working with the Xtreme Cheer Teams. Sonya is USAG certified in Safety and First aid.

Coach Alexa
RGC’s recreational program head coach. A former level 8 gymnast coached by both Coach Michelle and Coach Becca, she shares her passion for gymnastics with our recreational kids. Alexa is a senior in high school and is looking forward to college. She is USAG certified in Safety and First aid.

Coach Chris
RGC’s Xtreme Cheer Stunt Coach. A former college cheerleader in Florida, Chris keeps our XtremeCheer girls in the air. She has a degree in Sports Facility Management and is the events Manager at the Santa Ana Star Center.

Coach Taylor
RGC’s Xtreme Assistant Cheer coach for the Emeralds team. Taylor shares her passion for cheerleading with the youth team and is developing this first year team into winners! She cheers for RGC’s Senior squad and is a Senior in high school.
